Ubisoft are adding dedicated servers to their medieval brawler For Honor later this month, but only on PC, for the time being.
Ubisoft are also planning to bring dedicated servers to console players “soon after the implementation on PC” but didn’t provide a specific date.
“Changing the online infrastructure while the game was live was a challenge, but a decisive step in improving the game experience of our players,” said For Honor Game Director, Damien Kieken. “The implementation of the dedicated servers gives us confidence in the direction the game is taking and will pave the way for a full year of continued support and new contents.” As well as the arrival of dedicated servers, Ubisoft are celebrating the one year anniversary of For Honor with the Age of Wolves season five event, which introduces “major changes” to five of the game’s heroes and other updates that “adjust player progression, ranked play and more.” Are you happy to see For Honor finally getting dedicated servers?
