The company, best known for their videogame key marketplace, are branching further into the world of game development with their WW2 based virtual reality title, Blunt Force.

Blunt Force is being penned by Screenwriter Mark Bristol, whose previous work includes Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Edge of Tomorrow and Battlefield 1.

G2A are hoping the collaboration with Hollywood talent will “transform Blunt Force from your average point-and-shoot VR into a compelling and emotion-packed adventure.”

The game will feature two simultaneous story lines set before and during the events of the Second World War, with action switching between the two during play. Peacetime gameplay will focus on finding hidden clues and secret information, while players will be able to gun-down enemies during the wartime sections.
The wartime gameplay will have two difficulty modes, arcade and challenge, catering to both new and experienced VR users.

Arcade mode features simplified shooting mechanics, while those found in challenge mode will be more complex, including having to manually reload weapons and more challenging AI.

G2A do have some previous experience in the world of virtual reality development thanks to their G2A Land project which released last year, but this will be their first full length game.

Blunt Force will be released episodically, starting in 2017.
