Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting a post launch PvP mode, plus season pass content detailed

Ubisoft have announced plans to introduce a competitive multiplayer mode into their upcoming open world tactical shooter.

More information about the PvP mode will be released “at a later date,” Ubisoft stated, but did confirm that it will be available to all Wildlands players for free, and will offer “tactical class-based 4v4 team combat that will put players’ skills to the test.”

The publisher was a little more forthcoming with details on the game’s season pass, which will include two major expansions. These are the vehicle focussed Narco Road, where players must face off against a gang of smugglers in “crazy races and challenges” in order to bring them down from the inside, and Fallen Ghost, in which players must adapt and learn new skills as they are pursued by a “new powerful enemy.”

The pass grants a couple of passive bonuses in the form a permanent 5% XP boost and a onetime 50% XP boost that lasts for two hours, and also gives any squad members a 25% boost.
 
Also included are The Unidad Conspiracy missions and the Peruvian Connection pack, along with some Faction themed equipment packs which you can read about below.

• Rebellion Ghost Pack: “Players can don an outfit inspired by the brave Katari 26 rebels. They will also unlock a unique AK-47 equipped with a bigger magazine and customised with unique engraving work.”
  
• Unidad Ghost Pack: “Players dominate enemies with a Unidad outfit so they can attack Unidad camps while in disguise. They will also unlock a unique Unidad LMG weapon, customised with the colours of Unidad, and equipped with a red dot scope and a larger magazine.”
  
• Santa Blanca Ghost Pack: “With a Santa Blanca-inspired outfit, players can mimic their style without joining their ranks. This pack also unlocks the Santa Blanca golden M1911, customised with engravings and the mark of the cartel, for players to unleash chaos on the cartel.”
