It’s been a little over a year since Ghost Recon Wildlands was released, but Ubisoft are continuing to support the game with a bunch of new content over the coming twelve months. The first of these free updates drops next week, 10 April, and adds the ability to customise your AI teammates with all the gear players have unlocked for their own character, plus a free PvE mission and special challenge with “exclusive rewards”.
There’s also a new Ghost War game mode called Sabotage that features five exclusive maps, a new perk and explosive device, plus six new classes. Although the bulk of the Special Operations and their contents will be free, players can pick up a Year 2 Pass that offers seven-day early access to the six new Year 2 Ghost War classes, an exclusive customisation pack and eight battle crates (Wildlands’ version of loot boxes). Wildlands’ first year of post-launch support featured a total of 13 updates, which included the addition of the aforementioned Ghost War multiplayer mode, two paid campaign expansions, and a Predator-themed special event. Let us know your thoughts on Wildlands’ second year of post-launch content below. Leave a Reply. |
