Developers Black Matter and publisher Team 17 have announced the release date for the console version of their realistic WW2 multiplayer title, Hell Let Loose. The full release will feature cross-play between PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, along with two multiplayer modes. There’s the aforementioned Warfare, which sees two teams of 50 battling it out for control of a map, and Offensive, where one team takes on the role of attacker while the other plays defender.
Hell Let Loose will feature 10 maps in total based on the Western Front, including two inspired by the Omaha and Utah beach landings and a Carentan map that’s said to feature “brutal house-to-house, street-to-street urban fighting.” Two new maps based on the War’s Eastern Front, Stalingrad and Kursk, along with playable Soviet forces, will be added to the console version of the game as part of a free winter update having previously launched on PC. Here’s an overview of the game’s key features:
Hell Let Loose is out 5 October, 2021 on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 and is currently available on PC via Steam. Those who pre-order the console version will unlock The Silver Vanguard cosmetic pack. Are you looking forward to the game’s console debut? Let us know below. Leave a Reply. |
