Latest Resident Evil 3 Remake trailer reveals more of new-look Nemesis

Capcom have released a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake, giving us a closer look at the game’s stalking antagonist, Nemesis.

The trailer also showcases a few members of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, or UBCS for short, of which Carlos Oliveira, a playable character in the game, is a member of. The other team mates include commanding officer Mikhail Victor, who was badly wounded during the team’s mission to evacuate Raccoon City civilians, and Nicholai Ginovaef, the team leader that clashes with main protagonist Jill Valentine.

As well as the Nemesis, an unkillable hulk who relentlessly hunts players with laser guided rockets, a flamethrower and some rather nasty whip-like tentacles, the trailer also briefly highlights the Hunter enemy type players will be encountering.

​This monster, a walking bioweapon, has been made by “combining the genetic material of humans and reptiles” to create an incredibly fast and powerful adversary.

Resident Evil 3 is out 3 April on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
