After the initial Holiday 2016 launch date was cancelled, BioWare have stuck to their promise of an early Spring 2017 release for the next instalment in the Mass Effect series. Over the Christmas break, BioWare developers got to take home a ‘holiday build’ of the game to spend some quality time with their creation, with the feedback received from their experiences helping the studio lock in a fixed release date. As well as confirming the game’s release date, BioWare will also be showing some new environments and gameplay footage during Nvidia’s Keynote at the CES technology tradeshow. Those in the UK/Europe will probably want to catch the highlights at a later time however, as the keynote will take place at 18:30 PT, which is around 2:30am GMT. Mass Effect Andromeda will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Can’t wait to head on an all new adventure in the Mass Effect universe? Let us know in the comments or over in the forums.
