Metro Exodus Aurora Limited Edition revealed, pre-orders now live

Deep Silver and 4A Games have announced that Metro Exodus is now available for pre-order, both digitally and physically, and detailed the contents of the retail-only special edition.

The Aurora Limited Edition contains a copy of the game in a steelbook case, a 32 page artbook, and the Expansion Pass, all housed within a bespoke metal outer case inspired by The Aurora - a steam locomotive that Artyom and co. use to journey across Russia.

This special edition will be in limited supply at select retailers.

Those who prefer digital copies can opt for the Standard or Gold Edition, with the latter version containing the Expansion Pass.

Pre-ordering any version of the game offers additional bonuses, depending on the platform. Xbox One owners get a copy of Metro 2033 Redux, PS4 players can grab a Dynamic Theme based on the Metro Exodus ‘Winter’ artwork, whilst PC gamers are awarded a digital artbook and the Metro Exodus OST.

The bonuses can be claimed whether you purchase a physical or digital edition but you don't need to worry about missing out on too much as no in-game content has been reserved as a pre-order exclusive.

Metro Exodus launches 22 February on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
