Middle-earth: Shadow of War delayed1/6/2017 Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions have announced they are delaying the launch of Middle-earth: Shadow of War, with the game’s release date being pushed back by two months.
“Middle-earth: Shadow of War expands gameplay in every dimension, including the massive open world, the story, the RPG systems, and personal player stories of the Nemesis System. As with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Monolith is committed to delivering the highest quality experience. In order to do this, we have made the difficult decision to move our launch date to ensure that Middle-earth: Shadow of War will deliver on that promise.”
The post also notes that some territories, such as Australia, New Zealand and Japan, will have different release dates, but did not specify what they would be. Despite needing more time to work on Shadow of War, the developer will still be showing more of the game at this year’s E3, which takes place in just a couple of weeks. Disappointed by the delay?
