Milestone and Feld Entertainment have announced the third instalment in their supercross series; Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 3.

The game features 100 riders from both 450SX and 250SX Classes, 15 official stadia and tracks, plus a career mode that lets players join an official supercross team for the very first time, allowing them to team up with their favourite pro riders. Also making their debut in the series are female riders, which will be available through the custom rider selections.

There’s a co-op mode in which up to three friends can tear around the “legendary Factory Supercross Practice Tracks” in California, competing in different game modes, while the game’s competitive online offering now boasts dedicated servers for a “lag-free gameplay experience,” a track editor, and a Race Director Mode for creating online tournaments with custom features, such as choosing starting positions and dishing out penalties.

Other new additions include:

• Completely remade character models with new animations
• Revised particle effects on tracks for more realistic looking courses
• New in-air bike control system for improved handling between jumps

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 3 is out 4 February on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, PC and Google Stadia.
