Metronomik and Sold Out have announced that their musical action adventure game, No Straight Roads, will be coming to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The game, which can be tackled solo or with a friend via local co-op, sees players attempting to topple an evil EDM empire. It's being developed by Metronomik, a studio that’s led by two ex-AAA developers whose past work includes Street Fighter V and Final Fantasy XV. Previously, only PC and PS4 versions of the game had been announced, but now Xbox One and Switch users will be able to play the game on their preferred platform of choice when it launches later this summer.
It sounds like the Switch version will have some platform exclusive features, including an Assist Mode that allows a third user to help the two main players by picking up items, transforming props and calling in bonuses. Players will also be able to use the Switch’s touchscreen functionality (when undocked, of course) for easy interaction with props and for picking up items.

Xbox One and Switch users can also now pre-order the previously announced Collector’s Edition, which includes a double-sided vinyl record of the game’s OST, a 64-page art book and official NSR drumsticks.

If the game sounds familiar, you might recall we declared it Game of the Show for last year’s EGX Rezzed after seeing it in action first-hand. You can find out more by watching the video below.
No Straight Roads is out 30 June on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store.

Are you glad to see NSR coming to more platforms? Let us know below.
