Neo Aztec shoot 'em up Parwarumi arrives on Switch and Xbox One next month

​After a successful launch on Steam last year, Manufacture 43's "retro futuristic" shoot 'em up is coming to Switch and Xbox One.

In Pawarumi, players take on the role of pilot Axo, who's out to right the wrongs done to the people of Earth. The game features a neon art style blended with Aztec-inspired settings, five unique levels and even a Peruvian electro metal soundtrack. Three difficulty levels are available, each with their own storytelling.

Axo's ship, the Chukaru, can heal itself, deal extra damage or power up a super attack by using a certain type of weapon against a corresponding enemy type, a feature known as the "Trinity Mechanic."

Pawarumi is available now on Steam and comes to Switch and Xbox One on 24 July.
