New video shows off the improvements in Rogue Trooper Redux

Rebellion have released a video detailing the work that has gone into revitalising Rogue Trooper.

The trailer compares cutscenes and gameplay from the remastered version, to the original 2006 game. The characters, weapons and vehicles have been completely remodelled and there's new special effects, dynamic lighting and higher fidelity geometry.

In Rogue Trooper you play as the last Genetic Infantryman, a super-soldier bred for war. Betrayed by your superiors, you now fight your way through the ravaged wastes of Nu-Earth searching for the Traitor General in order to exact your revenge.

There are 13 expansive single player missions to blast through and a 2-4 player co-op mode in which you can relive the events leading up to the main campaign.

New features include modern controls, extra difficulty settings and a revamped cover system.

Rogue Trooper Redux releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC (via Steam and GOG) on 17 October and can be yours for £19.99. A Nintendo Switch version will launch soon after.
