For the first time ever, a mainline Zelda title will be releasing with an expansion pass. Purchase grants users access to three separate DLC drops. Second is DLC Pack 1, which is set to drop in summer. Expect a new Cave Of Trials challenge, a new hard difficulty mode and an additional map feature. Lastly, DLC Pack 2 is due for release in late 2017. It adds a new original story, a new dungeon and new challenges. You might think that the promise of even more Zelda would excite fans of the series, but if the YouTube dislike ratio is anything to go by, many aren’t happy at all. At the time of writing ⅓ of voters have displayed their displeasure by leaving a thumbs-down on the video.
For every comment praising the relatively cheap asking price of $20, there's one lamenting the fact that they'll have to pay an additional charge to get the full experience.
