A total of 10 games can be yours if you subscribe to both services, and there are some interesting titles on offer. The Turing Test will be available from 15 October. In this first person puzzle game, players step into the shoes of Ava Turing. Ava is a member of a research team sent by the International Space Agency to excavate Jupiter's moon, Europa. She is awoken from cryogenic sleep earlier than planned as the rest of her team are in danger. Guided by a Technical Operations Machine (or T.O.M.), the ship's AI, she must solve a series of tests to save her colleagues.
The Xbox 360 titles are Rayman 3 HD and Medal of Honor: Airborne, both of which can be played on Xbox One via the backwards compatibility feature. On the PlayStation 4 front, we have Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain and Amnesia: Collection. The Phantom Pain is set some years after the events of MGS: Ground Zeroes. After waking from a coma, Big Boss sets out to track down those responsible for the destruction of Militaires Sans Frontières, leading a team of mercenaries known as Diamond Dogs, but he soon uncovers a sinister plot. Amnesia: Collection includes Amnesia: The Dark Descent, its expansion Amnesia: Justine and the sequel Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. The series features no combat or fighting mechanics, meaning the player has to run and hide from the various monsters they'll encounter on the way. In The Dark Descent, staying in the shadows for too long or witnessing unsettling events will reduce the player’s sanity, causing hallucinations and drawing the attention of monsters. Light sources will restore sanity but make the player easier to detect. The expansion, Justine, is a different story with a new protagonist but plays much like the original. A Machine for Pigs changes things up further by removing the sanity mechanic and the inventory, as well as adding larger, more open areas and an adjusted AI. The titles coming to PlayStation 3 are Monster Jam Battlegrounds and Hustle Kings, whilst PS Vita owners can grab Hue and Sky Force Anniversary. All 6 PlayStation games are available from 5 October until 2 November. What do you think of the games on offer? Anything you fancy picking up? Let us know below or over in the forums.
