Okami HD confirmed for Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Capcom have confirmed the BAFTA award winning Okami is coming to consoles and PC this winter.

Originally released in 2007, Okami was lauded for its striking visuals, which are displayed in a Sumi-e ink art-style. The game follows the story of the Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess who takes on the form of the white wolf Shiranui in a quest to stop the evil demon Orochi, who has been turning the world into a ruined wasteland.

The game’s visuals have been updated to take advantage of modern resolutions, with 4K support included for Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and PC. However, if you’d prefer some mid-2000’s nostalgia, there is also an option to play the game in its original 4:3 aspect ratio.
 
Okami HD is available to buy digitally and physically from 12 December on Xbox One, PS4 and
PC with an MSRP of £15.99 / €19.99 / $19.99.
