Past Cure releasing next month, watch the final teaser

​Indie outfit Phantom 8 Studio have released a final teaser for their upcoming psychological horror title ahead of its impending launch.

Past Cure is said to combine brutal combat and slick stealth sections with more abstract puzzle solving, as the protagonist flits between the gritty real world and the nightmarish horror of his dreams.

Ian, a former elite soldier, spent years being tortured in dark prisons across Europe. The experiments he was put through twisted his mind and granted him supernatural abilities, such as telekinesis and the power to control time, but they also fractured his grip on reality.

Driven by hallucinations and a lust for revenge, Ian enlists the help of his brother and sets out on a hunt for his captors and the truth behind the bizarre experiments he was a part of. With each use of his new found abilities, Ian's sanity frays a little more, inviting the attention of something beyond reality.

Past Cure releases 23 February on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
