Tri-Heart Interactive, a Manchester-based independent studio, have released a trailer for their upcoming shooter/party game hybrid, The Otterman Empire. Alongside competitive multiplayer, there are also "intense and immersive" single player and co-op campaigns, where players must stop Tiko - a deranged scientist - from destroying the empire by completing a variety of challenges across an entire galaxy.
Features include:
"Working with the community hands-on has been a big eye-opener for us as developers," said Kieran Rogers, Managing Director at Tri-Heart Interactive. "Coming out the gate as a ‘community-driven game developer’ has impacted the choices we’ve made every step of the way. Having a tight-knit community that is as invested in the game as much as we are, gives us a broader perspective on a project that we are so close to and it has helped us to create a party game we’re really proud of." The Otterman Empire is due to launch on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC early next year. You can keep up to date via the official website. What do you think of the trailer?
