The ten hour free trial for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is now live for EA Access and Origin Access members on Xbox One and PC respectively. The game is set to launch next Tuesday, 23 February, so this is the perfect time to give it a shot - especially if you missed last month's open beta.
The original Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare was a class-based third person shooter and, whilst it wasn't exactly reinventing the genre, it was a very solid game. The sequel looks to expand on that with extra classes, game modes and maps, along with more customisation options than you could fit in a decently sized wheelbarrow. If you enjoy the free trial you can also download the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare from the vault, absolutely free. An Access subscription will set you back £3.99 a month, or one upfront payment of £19.99 for 12 months. That's quite a saving. The next title to be getting a free Access trial will be EA's UFC 2, look out for that 10 March. Did you play the PvZ:GW2 open beta? Will you be downloading the trial?
