PlayStation Classic launches globally in time for Christmas

Sony have announced the PlayStation Classic, a miniature console that mirrors the look of the original machine, which will release in early December.

The console will come with 20 pre-loaded games including Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, RIDGE RACER TYPE 4, Jumping Flash! and Wild Arms. Other titles are yet to be confirmed and could differ depending on region. It's worth noting that further titles cannot be added.

Also included are 2 controllers, an HDMI cable and a USB cable, but you'll need a USB AC adapter for the power supply.

​PlayStation Classic will cost £89.99 and is due for release, in limited quantities, on 3 December, exactly 24 years after the original.
