Arkane Studios’ Prey reboot will launch worldwide on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 5 May, Bethesda have confirmed.

To celebrate the news, Bethesda have treated us to some brand-new gameplay footage showing protagonist Morgan Yu taking on the deadly Typhon aliens, giving us a look at some of the game’s weapons and Yu’s (and the alien's) ability to mimic items found in the Talos I space station.

Those who pre-order the game will receive the Cosmonaut Shotgun Pack to help them take on the less than friendly inhabitants currently occupying Talos I, including:
 

• Morgan Yu’s family heirloom Margrave shotgun
• Three Neuromods players can spend to acquire new abilities
• Two Medkits
• Fabrication plan to create the Shotgun and Ammo
• A starter kit for building tools and weapons
• A unique upgrade to help players preserve their limited resources
