Prison Architect coming to consoles

Introversion Software and Double 11 have announced that they’ll be bringing popular PC prison management simulator Prison Architect to consoles, specifically Xbox One, PS4 and Xbox 360, this spring.

The aim of the game is naturally to build and maintain a prison, you're in charge of everything. Choose where to construct cells and facilities, the size and shape of said facilities, what staff to hire and even how much of your budget to spend on feeding the inmates.

Exercise gear, payphones and other amenities can be built to keep everyone happy and your prison riot free; an important task, as you’ll need to keep the population healthy to earn big on every jailbird you manage.

As you’d expect, considerable changes have been made to the UI in order to make it easier to navigate with a controller. They've also added a couple of console exclusive features, including the ability to jump straight into a pre-made prison in Prison Warden Mode, and World Of Wardens will allow you to share your prisons with the community and try your hand at managing other people's creations.
