A discovery on one of Saturn's moons leads a team of humans to the Broken Planet. The existence of a Aleph, a powerful energy source, causes the human forces to split into factions and fight amongst themselves for control of the Aleph.

The inhabitants of the planet are caught in the crossfire but a hero emerges who hopes to bring peace to his world once more.
The game will be shown running in 4K on Xbox One X at Gamescom.
Raiders of the Broken Planet is an asymmetrical 4v1 shooter with a campaign mode and online competitive multiplayer. You can find out what James and Sam thought after spending some time with it.

Launching on 22 September for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Raiders of the Broken Planet - Prologue will set the scene for the adventures to follow. This will be a free download, containing two missions across four stages, multiple characters to play as and unrestricted access to both the single player and online multiplayer game modes.

The first campaign, Alien Myths, will release the same day and cost £9.99/€9.99/$9.99. Alien Myths features hours of additional content, including new characters, missions and a standalone story.

Three more campaigns - Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayal and Council’s Apocalypse - will release at regular intervals. Each one will add new content and tell a different story.
