Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered gets July release date

THQ Nordic have revealed the release date for Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered along with a first look trailer.

Accompanied by a rather catchy song, the tongue-in-cheek video gives us our first look at the upgraded visuals. Xbox One X and PS4 Pro users will be able to pick from 4K resolution at 30fps, or 1800p/60fps and 1500p/60fps respectively. The PC version – a free upgrade for those who own the 2009 original Steam release – will also support 4K visuals.

The game will run at 1080p/60fps on a standard PlayStation 4 and 900p/60fps on regular Xbox One models.

​Other features of the remaster include “heavily reworked textures”, improved shadow rendering and lighting, and reworked shaders and postprocessing.

Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered is out 3 July on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
