After recently confirming that their next project won’t be a Microsoft exclusive, Remedy Entertainment have announced a new partnership deal with publisher 505 Games, a subsidiary of Digital Bros.
CEO of Digital Bros, Raffaele Galante, said the newly announced partnership was a “sign of how far 505 Games has come,” and that the two company’s business objectives are “very well-aligned,” while Remedy’s own CEO, Tero Virtala, said 505 bring “experience and competences” that will help them achieve their unique vision of what P7 should be.
We already know that P7 is being developed with Remedy’s Northlight engine - which was used to make Quantum Break - and that it will be multiplatform, but today’s announcement also included a few more details about the game, which is said to be a cinematic, third-person action title set in a newly created Remedy universe.
P7 will have the “deepest game mechanics yet” seen in any Remedy game, according to the blog post, with an “intriguing story and a game structure offering a long-lasting experience.”
