Resident Evil Revelations out on PS4 and Xbox One this month, Switch version and sequel coming later

Capcom’s ship-set survival horror game is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on 29 August with a few graphical improvements.

The latest iteration of Revelations will be the “best-looking version of the game to date” according to Capcom, and features an improved framerate and “increased environmental detail and refined creature movement,” along with a smoother resolution of 1920x1080. All previously released DLC will also be included as unlockable rewards.

The game’s Raid Mode, in which two players work together to survive hordes of enemies, includes an updated version of the classic Ghost Ship map, with “remixed enemy placements” and more powerful weapons that can be upgraded.
 
No date was provided for the Nintendo Switch version, with Capcom simply stating that the game, and its sequel, Resident Evil Revelations 2, will launch on Nintendo’s console sometime in “late 2017”.
