Following last weekend's tech test, Respawn have released a statement to allay some of your fears about Titanfall 2.
Pilot mobility was one factor, with players feeling a little slower than in the previous title. However, changes were made to improve gunplay, rather than slow down movement, so Respawn will be reworking a few things, making wall running faster and increasing air speed.
Another bugbear was the time it takes to build your titan meter. Although the team aimed to reward pilots for playing the objective, they found that players could attempt to, but fail, which had the unintended consequence of slowing down titan acquisition. The goal is for each player to be guaranteed at least one titan per match, as such, tweaks will be made to this mechanic.
Other annoyances, like titan mobility, map design and the cluttered hud will also be looked into.
The developers have stated that some of the problems have already been addressed and will be updated for the second round of testing, which takes place this weekend, whilst other changes will make it into the final game.
