We’re putting a Steam key for Rivals of Aether, the retro-styled multiplayer brawler that’s heavily inspired by Smash, up for grabs in our giveaway this week.

​Nintendo’s endless Super Smash Bros. Ultimate chatter during their E3 Direct made us think about the incredible task that Dan Fornace faced (and continues to face) in pretty much single-handedly developing and supporting Rivals of Aether. There may be fewer characters and stages to balance, but what’s included is exactly that: beautifully balanced to offer up an experience comparable to its inspiration on a smaller scale.
