Rocket League Anniversary Update includes new cars and customisation options

Psyonix are celebrating Rocket League’s second anniversary with some new content, which arrives 5 July as part of the Anniversary Update.

The update includes a free new arena, Champion’s Field, two cars - the Animus GP and Centio V17 – which can be found in Overdrive Crates (which are available as limited drops after Online matches) and some new customisation options, including new car trails. For the first time in Rocket League, players will also be able to personalise their goal explosions and their car’s engine noise. Some of these new customisation options will be free, while others are set to be available through Crate drops.

The update also marks the beginning of Competitive Season 5, and introduces Rocket League Radio, which adds a further eighteen tracks to the game’s soundtrack from the Monstercat record label.
