Rocket League’s new Dropshot mode is available to download on Xbox One, PS4 and PC as part of a free update which went live late last night. Players are able break multiple panels in one hit by dealing damage to the opposing team or by charging the match ball by keeping it in the air, with anywhere up to 19 panels being broken in one hit the longer it stays airborne.
The update also marks the start of Competitive Season 4, and adds some new Achievements and Trophies, a new Esports button that notifies players of official streams, and a new ‘speed-themed’ Turbo Crate that has the potential to contain animated decals, Exotic Wheels and Black Market customisations.
