With the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 only a month away, Rockstar Games have shared some info on Red Dead Online, an "online connected experience set against the backdrop of Red Dead Redemption 2's enormous open world." The duo didn't give away any gameplay details but they did state that GTA Online was a source of inspiration and lessons have been learned from the rocky start they had when GTA V's multiplayer component went live.
They went on to say that we can expect Red Dead Online to be handled in a similar fashion, with regular themed content drops. Interestingly, Sarwar claimed they really want to focus on "role-playing and morality" but admitted that direction could change when the game is released. You can read the full interview here. Red Dead Redemption 2 releases 26 October and Red Dead Online is due to go live in November. Are you intrigued by Red Dead Online or are you solely interested in the single player mode?
