Rockstar Games release third Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer

Rockstar have upped the hype for Red Dead Redemption 2 by releasing a third story trailer, which features a brief cameo by a familiar face.

In 1899 America is changing. The last remaining outlaw gangs are being hunted down by lawmen and those who don't surrender are killed.

After a botched robbery in Blackwater, the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and bounty hunters giving chase, Arthur Morgan, Dutch and co. must rob, steal and fight their way across the Wild West. As internal conflicts begin to threaten the stability of the gang, Arthur must choose between himself and the people who raised him.

Keep an eye out for John Marston in the trailer.

The trailer teases that "select content" will be available first on PS4 and promises further details will follow.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launches 26 October on Xbox One and PS4.
