SEGA Mega Drive Classics officially announced for Xbox One and PS4

SEGA have officially announced SEGA Mega Drive Classics following an earlier leak.

The collection brings together more than 50 titles from the Mega Drive’s library, adding new modern features such as online multiplayer, mirror modes, achievements and “rewind and save states”. Players who already own the game on Steam will receive a free update to bring the PC version in-line with the console edition when it launches later this spring.

Those planning on picking up the physical edition of the game will be rewarded with a double sided Golden Axe and Streets of Rage poster, both of which you can briefly see in the trailer above.

​SEGA Mega Drive Classics is out 29 May on Xbox One and PS4. There’s no word just yet as to whether there are plans for a Switch version.
