The beta will feature Assault on Theed and Starfighter Assault on the Fonder map, which were showcased at E3 and Gamescom respectively, as well as Strike on Takodana. The beta is also said to include the co-operative Skirmish mode, with up to two players supported in split-screen or online.
Playable Heroes are said to be the ones EA have already shown off at EA Play (Han Solo, Boba Fett, Rey and Darth Maul), while there will be new vehicles in the form of the LAAT, which Some_Info compares to the U-Wing from Battlefront’s Scarif expansion.

Other information revealed:

  • The beta will be a 14-16GB download
  • Soldiers will have 5-9 emotes
  • Players can earn credits and collect Star Cards but they will be lost at the end of the beta

The beta for Battlefront II is scheduled to take place next month, so we’ll not have to wait long to find out whether the leaks were accurate.
