Space exploration game Astroneer coming to PC and Xbox One this December

Astroneer will be available this December in early access form on Steam. Xbox One and Windows 10 users will also have access to the game via the Xbox Game Preview program.

Astroneer is a co-operative space exploration game set in a time when humanity has recently discovered the ability to travel between the stars. Take a look for yourself in the announcement trailer below:

Featuring diverse worlds that combine "careful artistry and procedural generation", up to four players can explore planets together in online co-op and create custom vehicles and modules.
 
One of the standout features is the ability to shape and mould the Play-Doh like planet surfaces in any form players wish, whether it’s building huge towers, makeshift bridges or digging right down into a planet’s core.
 
There’s no solid release date just yet, but over on System Era Softwork's blog the team assure people it will be released sometime before 20 December.
