MercurySteam have rolled out the Heavy Metal update for their asymmetrical multiplayer shooter, Spacelords, across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Blueprints, which are also used to build weapons, have been made more powerful to reflect their “new high-ranking status” and will remain as special prizes.
On top of the Forge System, Heavy Metal also adds a Talent System to “further emphasize the player’s control” over the way their character plays by adding a Talent Tree, and also introduces “new and exciting gameplay options”, such as the ability to launch Aleph blasts at enemies.
It seems that Monday’s launch of the update caused a few players to experience crashes while using the game’s main menu, but MercurySteam have since resolved the problem.
