YouTuber BattlefrontUpdates has released a few videos explaining how the new loot crates will work, and what they contain. Star Cards provide a bonus to a certain character or class (such as taking reduced damage) and come in five different rarities; common, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary. The greater the rarity, the bigger the bonus offered. You'll be able to upgrade your favourite Star Cards using crafting parts, but only up to epic. Legendary cards must be acquired through luck of the draw. Loot crates can be purchased using real money or in-game credits earned by playing matches. Any duplicate cards found in the crates will automatically be sold and award you with credits instead. You'll also receive crates as daily login bonuses, and possibly from other activities like completing challenges or levelling up. Star Wars: Battlefront II is scheduled to release 17 November on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
