Switch exclusive Castle of Heart launching in March

Castle of Heart is a classic action platformer from Polish developer, 7LEVELS, which promises challenging gameplay and plenty of twists on the typical formula.

Players take on the role of a cursed knight, turned to stone by an evil sorcerer's spell but ready to prove that love and courage can conquer even the darkest magic.

Alongside love and courage, you'll be equipped with more traditional weapons for chopping and stabbing. Further tools, such as flaming grenades and magical items, are unlocked through progression.

As part of the curse, the knight's stone body will disintegrate over time as he loses energy, which can only be restored by defeating enemies. If the process reaches a critical state he could lose an arm, and the ability to wield additional weapons with it.

The game features 20 levels set across four discrete environments. Their aesthetics, and the creatures you'll be taking on within them, are partly inspired by Slavic mythology - with some locations derived straight from famous places in the developers' home country - and the classic platforming titles of yesteryear.

Castle of Heart hits the Nintendo eShop on 23 March.
