Telltale teaming up with Warner Bros. in distribution deal

The two companies have previously worked together on The Wolf Among Us and now have a retail distribution agreement for the highly anticipated Batman - The Telltale Series, and the third season of the critically acclaimed The Walking Dead.

Batman’s initial episode will be released as a digital download in August with the retail version to follow 16 September. The disc will include the first episode, as well as a season pass granting access to episodes 2 - 5 as they become available.

The third season of The Walking Dead introduces a mysterious new character, Javier, whilst continuing the story of Clementine, who’s much older than when we last saw her.

Season 3 will likely stick to the same release pattern when it launches in autumn.
