Telltale’s Marvel project is a Guardians of the Galaxy game

Though it’s yet to be officially confirmed by either Marvel or Telltale, we now know the result of the two companies’ partnership will be a game based on Guardians of the Galaxy.

The news was uncovered by ComicBookMovie, who spotted the title in a list of projects which have been affected by the ongoing voice-actor strike in the U.S.
 
You can see the listing in the image below, which shows ‘Guardians of the Galaxy – The Video Game A.K.A Blue Harvest’. Presumably the last part is just a placeholder, seeing as it was the development title for Return of the Jedi.

Telltale’s Marvel project has a planned release date of 2017, which would tie-in nicely with the arrival of Marvel’s second Guardians of the Galaxy film.
 
Last year’s Game Awards was Telltale’s event of choice when announcing their Batman series, so hopefully we’ll hear more about their latest project at this year’s ceremony.
