The immersive first person title is centred around the mysterious organisation known as the Assembly, who have been conducting clandestine experiments underground. Their breakthroughs are only made possible by operating outside of government scrutiny and far from society’s morals.

The story plays out from the perspective of two protagonists; as newcomer Madeleine Stone, you'll face a bizarre induction programme that seeks to test your potential, and as veteran Cal Pearson, you'll make a series of shocking revelations that lead you to question the Assembly’s relentless pursuit of progress and ponder if the end really justifies the means.

Although it has been designed as an accessible introduction into the world of virtual reality thanks to a player tested control scheme, you'll be able to switch to the game's flatscreen mode at any time.

The Assembly can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store on 13 October and will set you back £19.99.
