The Division’s next beta - this time of the open variety – will be taking place this month, running from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 February, with Xbox One again granted a day’s early access ahead of PC and PlayStation 4. High demand for places in January’s closed beta meant that many who signed up to the waitlist were left empty handed, while some who pre-ordered the game to guarantee access to the test received their keys late. Ubisoft will also be addressing the issue of cheating which blighted the recent beta experience for many PC users, the publisher stating on Ubiblog that the development team had eradicated “most” of the exploits found during the closed beta. To tempt back those of you who are by now already seasoned Agents of The Division (like we are), a new story mission has been added, as well as gifting open-beta participants an in-game reward for when the full version of The Division is released. The Division is out on 8 March for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the new Factions trailer below for a look at the various villains you’ll be going head to head with in the battle to save New York City from ruin.
