Time-limited Resident Evil 2 demo launches this week

In anticipation of its impending release, Capcom are inviting players to try out Resident Evil 2 with a free time-limited demo.

Available to download between 11 - 31 January, the 1-Shot Demo offers a "specially tweaked" version of the game's opening section, which can be played for a total of 30 minutes.

The demo can be played through multiple times, if you're quick enough, and you have an unlimited amount of continues if things don't go your way and you end up as a snack.

Completing the mission will reveal a brand new cinematic trailer, exclusive to demo participants.

Players can't restart the demo once the time runs out but there are no limitations on how many times the trailer can be viewed.

Resident Evil 2 releases 25 January on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
