Tintin game being developed for consoles and PC

Paris-based games publisher Microids and Tintin custodians Moulinsart have partnered up to create a new game for consoles and PC based on the adventures of the famous reporter and his dog, Snowy.

The as-of-yet unnamed title is going to be an action-adventure game based on The Adventures of Tintin comic book series, which have sold more than 250,000,000 copies worldwide. According to the press release, the game will “transport the player into a whirlwind of incredible situations and suspense hand in hand with the legendary Tintin and Snowy characters.”

Other iconic characters said to be making an appearance are Professor Calculus, Captain Haddock and detective duo Thomson and Thompson.

​Moulinsart’s Director, Nick Rodwell, said the aim of the partnership is to create a “fun and friendly” game that everyone will be able to enjoy, adding that the upcoming title “inserts itself pretty well” in the Tintin legacy.

While there’s no other solid details just yet, the title of the game, along with some artwork and further information, will be revealed “soon.”
