Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 remake officially unveiled

Activision have officially confirmed that a remastered collection of the two iconic skateboard games is coming to consoles and PC later this year.

Developed by Vicarious Visions, the studio behind the recent Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing remakes, THPS 1 and 2 is out this September and comes with all the skaters, tricks and maps found in the original games, plus quite a few songs from the original soundtracks. As well as the visual overhaul, the game’s create-a-skater and create-a-park features have also been updated, and the revert ability has been added into the game.

Online multiplayer will also be supported, alongside split screen, with players said to be able to build and share upon each other’s custom parks.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is out 4 September on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via the Epic Games Store. Those who pre-order will get access to the Warehouse Demo ahead of the game’s release.
