Ubisoft Nadeo are delaying the release of their upcoming Trackmania Nations remake, with a new release date scheduled for later this summer. While the news is no doubt disappointing for those looking forward to the game, Ubisoft Nadeo softened the blow by giving fans their first look at gameplay, which you can see in the above trailer.
A remake of 2006’s free-to-play Trackmania Nations, Trackmania, as the modern iteration is called, was announced during February’s Trackmania Grand League Finals in Lyon. The remake will feature “easy-to-learn, hard-to-master” gameplay and a “fresh” visual style, along with a new seasonal campaign and daily track selections. It’ll also make esports “accessible to everyone”, according to Nadeo, with in-game competitions ranging from daily events to “international open leagues.” Trackmania is out 1 July on PC via the Epic Games Store and Uplay.
