Try Titanfall 2 for free this weekend, Colony Reborn update now available

To celebrate the release of the Colony Reborn update, Titanfall 2 will be free to play on all platforms from 30 March – 3 April, giving players access to the game’s full roster of multiplayer modes, the Training Gauntlet, and the campaign mission: The Beacon.

Colony Reborn is the latest free update for Titanfall 2, adding the fan favourite map Colony from the original Titanfall. The update also includes a special R101 Carbine that comes outfitted with an ACOG scope, and a new execution called Curb Check which makes use of the grappling hook ability. You can see it in action in the trailer below.

All modes will offer double XP over the course of the free weekend. Arriving alongside the freebies are a number of bug fixes and improvements, plus some new paid content in the form of cosmetic upgrades.
