TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 shows off updated riding physics in new trailer

KT Racing have released a new trailer looking at some of the new and improved features found in their official Isle of Man TT simulator, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2.

A sequel to their original title, which we reviewed back in 2018, Ride on the Edge 2 comes with a few upgrades over its predecessor, including improved riding physics. Bikes will now wobble at high speeds, indicating when a fall is imminent, steering is said to be more “precise and natural,” and bikes will handle corners differently, depending on your approach. Players can also take advantage of other riders’ slipstreams to cut precious seconds from their race times.

One of the biggest changes sees the introduction of an open world that’s said to be a “biker's paradise.”

​Players will have to “prove their worth” before taking on the island's iconic, 60km Snaefell Mountain course by competing in a series of road races, earning upgrades that can be tested out in the game world.

​There’s no solid release date just yet, with the game said to be releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC sometime during the “first semester” of this year.
