2K and Gearbox have released the first 14 minutes of Borderlands 3’s upcoming DLC, Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot.

Set aboard a giant space casino, which was previously owned by the infamous Handsome Jack, the campaign add-on features new main and side missions, Crew Challenges and Legendary weapons and gear for Vault Hunters to track down as they attempt to take back the derelict ship for Moxxi.

​As everyone aboard the casino has been trapped there since Jack’s death, the leftover punters aren’t in the most welcoming mood, and there’s also a few new “never-before-seen enemies and larger-than-life bosses” based on the old Hyperion forces.

​Players must first have unlocked the Sanctuary III base by completing the main campaign’s prologue and should be at least level 13 before taking on the heist. Higher level players will find the difficulty automatically scales to offer a challenge and “appropriately powerful loot.”

​Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot is out 19 December on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and comes as part of the season pass and the Super Deluxe edition of the game. It's the first of four DLC drops planned for Borderlands 3.
