The team behind Stories: The Path of Destinies, Spearhead Games, have released a teaser trailer for an upcoming time-bending narrative-based adventure title.

In Omensight, players step into the role of the Harbinger, a highly skilled warrior who exists outside of time. You have foreseen the annihilation of the world of Urralia and have been summoned to witness the events leading up to the destruction and, hopefully, alter its fate.

Serving as "the eyes and sword of Urralia", you'll identify characters who may have played a key role. By participating in events from different perspectives, you'll glean useful information about what transpired and how specific decisions played out.

The Harbinger's sword techniques and time slowing spells can dispatch threats or you can use the power of Omensight to weave a new narrative and give the inhabitants of Urralia a second chance.

“When we released Stories: The Path of Destinies in 2016, we were thrilled with the response to its narrative structure,” says Malik Boukhira, Creative Director on Omensight.

“Players told us how they enjoyed manipulating time to collect all the different endings in the game. With Omensight, our new original title set in a fresh universe, we’re taking this idea one step further.

What we like to call the ‘narrative puzzle’ will extend to a range of diverse characters in Omensight, and we can’t wait to see how players navigate the intricacies of these characters’ actions and reactions to solve the mystery of Urralia’s demise.”

The game’s script is being worked on by a team whose previous credentials include Prey, Fallout: New Vegas, Torment: Tides of Numenera and The Holders Dominion, and also features voice actors who have appeared in Breath of the Wild and We Happy Few.

Omensight is set to release on PC sometime during 2018.
